Omnia Oven

The Omnia Oven is a compact, versatile, and lightweight cooking tool that delivers oven-quality results without requiring an oven.

Crafted in Sweden, the Omnia oven, boasts a distinctive design composed of three interworking parts. For outstanding results, all three components must always be used together. These components include the lid with ventilation holes and an additional hole for a temperature gauge, which is an extra cost. The second part is the pan in which the food is cooked, and finally, there's a bowl-shaped base with a hole in the center that distributes the heat. The Omnia oven is compatible with all stovetops with a flame. I like using a silicone mold and the muffin ring for cooking because the Omnia oven is made of aluminum, and I prefer to avoid having my food come into contact with aluminum.

I recommend you do a few tests to adjust your heat, the temperature gauge really helps with that. After numerous trials, I achieved my best results by cooking almost everything—from casseroles to cakes and cookies—without burning, when the temperature gauge is set to 300 degrees. Start out with a simple dish or even a box cake mix for practice. The following recipe is super simple and consistently yields great results.

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin Spice Scones by Sticky Fingers

  • 1 package of pumpkin spice scone mix

  • 2/3 cups water

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into your silicone mold. Bake at 300° for approximately 25 minutes. For the scone mix, I would use the muffin ring, utilizing either paper cupcake liners or oil.

It is a lot of fun! I hope you will give it a try.

Cheers!
