Red Rock Canyon Nevada

A few years back, we enjoyed the picturesque drive through Red Rock Canyon.. This year, we talked with a national park ranger who strongly recommended that we bring our bikes and ride them through the canyon. Knowing us and our electric bikes, we packed a lunch and set off. We began at the Visitors Center to gather maps and information. The day was sunny yet cool, and we were grateful for dressing appropriately with multiple layers, ear muffs, buffs, and warm gloves. Our brisk 15-mile loop ride was truly worthwhile. The views were even more breathtaking. There are alot of elevation changes which makes the ride even more exhilarating.
Cars do share the two-lane, one-way road with you, but everyone was quite courteous, with vehicles staying on the left side and bikes on the right.
Once you leave the visitors center, there is no water available, but there are restrooms at nearly every scenic turnout.
Our next bike path to explore is the Huckleberry Loop in Tucson Arizona
